Liza Marie Galletti

SB: Tell us a little about who Liza Marie is and some things about yourself.

LM: I am Puerto Rican/Italian. I was raised in Miami. I moved back to NYC when I fell in love and got married 4 1/2 years ago. I am very ambitious and set goals for myself that will challenge me.

I love when people doubt me because it gives me an opportunity to shut them up when I prove them wrong. I also try to make every situation an opportunity. I tend to have a very aggressive personality and a very aggressive way of approaching life. I am very passionate about everything I do. I believe you can achieve the unthinkable if you truly believe and work hard.

I tend to surround myself with like minded people. I don’t like evil or overly selfish people, the minute I see those traits in someone I tend to push them out of my life. My circle is tight and small but I know a lot of people and try to embrace them as if they were part of that circle. I believe you should treat others how you want to be treated. Love & prayer moves mountains.

SB: When did you decide you wanted to model?

LM: I don’t consider myself a model. Modeling is not really my career. I think I only got into because I saw it as a stepping stone.

SB: What’s your goal within the modeling career then?

LM: Being that I see modeling as a stepping stone the only goal I made was to been seen so that I can make other opportunities from it.

SB: Would you like to act or sing aside from modeling?

LM: Eventually I would love to work behind the scenes. I already started to produce for my correspondent work. I like being more in control of things…

SB: What advice would you give someone who wants to get into modeling and the things you do?

LM: I would tell them to have a game plan. Know what you want at the end of it all. Know what you will and will not do. Try not to get caught up in the hype because it is all Just that, hype.

Take advantage of every opportunity because then you will see other things in this business you might be better at. This game can make or break you but if you believe in yourself and surround yourself with positive people…who knows you might defeat the odds.

SB: Where do you hope to be in 5 years?

LM: In five years I hope to be doing correspondent work for a syndicated show, hosting on an fm or satellite radio, acting on a tv show or movies, having more sponsors behind my brand, producing more. Last but not least starting a family..

SB: Where can people see you? Any specific magazine or events you are found at?

LM: One of the brands I model the most for is Ciroc Vodka. I am what you call a “Ciroc Girl”. Nine out of Ten times you will find me at one of the events handing out cocktails or bartending. Other times I work their tasting events, bringing product awareness to consumers. I have been doing this for them since 2008. I have to admit I have the most fun working for Ciroc and love the people I work for and with! Team Ciroc all day! If you are of age Ciroc is the business…drink responsibly!

SB: What are you currently working on and doing?

LM: Current stats . . . I am currently URBAN LATINO RADIO’s main correspondent. I work red carpet events and Interview celebrities. I also co-host on one of their online radio shows called “Front Stage Radio” on Mon/weds from 10pm- 1am with the show’s host Pretty Lou Ortega.

I also am currently the host for two on going event/shows. One is “Raise the Bar” with Crown Mega Events. It is an unsigned artist show case/ competition. The second event I am also a continuing host is for “Isla Jewels” fashion shows. Isla Jewels is a fresh and funky jewelry line. I have fun with this one as well because I get to see what is new in fashion.

I am also sponsored by “AppleBottoms” and I love it. A lot of people don’t know it but they are still up on their game. They have the cutest urban fashions and I am honored that they have taken notice in me and believe in my goals.
